A graduate of the Chicago Medical School, Michael Mirochna, MD, completed his family medicine internship at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona and a residency at St. Vincent Family Medicine in Indianapolis. “When I was growing up, my family doctor made a big impression on me,” Dr. Mirochna said. “Then in high school I attended a medical camp, and that confirmed that medicine was for me.” Saying he enjoys the fact that family medicine allows him exposure to many areas of medicine, Dr. Mirochna works to empower his patients to make their own healthcare decisions while serving as their guide along the way.

Dr. Mirochna has a particular interest in concussions and understands they can range in severity. He coordinates the Porter Concussion Clinic, which is located within Lake Porter Medical Group.
