Dana Forrest, MD, is a primary care physician for men, women and children of all ages. Dr. Forrest provides multiple types of services including preventive and chronic care. She also treats various acute illnesses. Dr. Forrest began her career as a high school and college chemistry teacher before beginning her medical education. She received her medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. In 2007, she completed her family medicine residency in Fort Wayne. Dr. Forrest, who is board certified in family medicine, joined Lutheran Health Physicians after working for 10 years as a family medicine physician in Auburn, Indiana. Dr. Forrest is a member of the Indiana State Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians and the Indiana Academy of Family Physicians.
