Alexandru Tanase, MD, is a pediatrician who focuses on infants, children and adolescents. He treats patients with chronic or acute illnesses and manages physical, mental and emotional well-being for children. Dr. Tanase earned his medical degree from the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania. In 1994, he began practicing medicine in Romania, but soon moved to Detroit, Michigan to complete a pediatric residency and neonatology fellowship from Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. With more than 15 years of experience as a pediatric physician working in Casa Grande and Phoenix, Arizona, Dr. Tanase has a special interest in early autism diagnosis and developmental care for children. He is board certified in pediatrics and medical quality.
