Wen-Chou Tang, MD, is a board-certified primary care physician who provides preventive care to men, women and children of all ages. He also treats various chronic and acute illnesses. Dr. Tang joined Lutheran Health Physicians in June 2020 after serving as a family medicine physician at Girard Medical Centers in Kansas since 2014. While at Girard Medical Centers, he also served as an infectious control physician and, in 2015, was the interim medical director of pulmonary rehabilitation.

As a graduate of The University of the New South Wales, Australia, with a bachelor’s degree in medical sciences (physiology and pharmacology), Dr. Tang later earned his doctor of medicine from American University of the Caribbean. In 2014, he completed a family medicine residency at Providence Hospital and Medical Centers in eastern Michigan.

Dr. Tang is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association.
