Timothy Crater, MD

Timothy A. Crater, M.D., strives to deliver compassionate care to his adult patients ages 18 and older. In addition to preventive care, he is experienced in the treatment of chronic and acute health conditions.

Dr. Crater comes to Tullahoma from The Hutchinson Clinic in Hutchinson, Kansas, where he served on their board of directors and served as clinical assistant professor of medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He served as clinical preceptor for third and fourth year medical students in internal medicine, instructing more than 30 medical students during his 15 years at the clinic.

He has served as the primary investigator for numerous clinical research studies, some of which have been featured and published in U.S. News and World Report and The Economist.

Additionally, while serving in the United States Army, before being honorably discharged as a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserve, he received the Bronze Star for actions in combat, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal with oak leaf cluster and Military Parachutist Badge.
