Shawn Kidder, DO, FAAFP, is a board-certified primary care physician who provides preventive care to men, women and children of all ages. He also treats various chronic and acute illnesses. Dr. Kidder joined Lutheran Health Physicians after serving as a family medicine physician in Auburn, Indiana, for over 20 years, specializing in osteopathic manipulation, joint injections, skin biopsy, skin cryosurgery, women’s health and general preventative and wellness care. He has also held various academic appointments at Indiana University School of Medicine and St. Francis University in Fort Wayne, serving as associate faculty and clinical site instructor.

Dr. Kidder earned his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing before completing a family medicine residency at Naval Hospital Charleston in South Carolina. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice and is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, US Naval Institute and American Legion.
