Sanjay Patel, MD, a board-certified internal medicine physician, joined Lutheran Medical Group in January 2002. Dr. Patel earned a medical degree at South Gujarat University in Surat, India, and he completed an internal medicine internship at Sardar Valabhbhai Hospital in Bardoli Gujarat, India. He completed an internal medicine residency at Michigan State University Saginaw Cooperative Hospital in Saginaw, Mich., where he was a clinical instructor. Dr. Patel is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin, the American Medical Association, the Indiana State Medical Association and the Fort Wayne Medical Society.
