Manolo Manalo, MD

A native of Manila, Philippines, Dr. Manalo joined Lutheran Health Physicians in August 2010 when his former group, Brooklyn Medical Associates joined LHP. Dr. Manalo joined BMA in 1998. In addition to being a primary care physician, throughout his career Dr. Manalo has served as a laboratory support technician, a medical technician, a critical care nurse and an emergency room physician at hospitals in Illinois, Florida and Indiana. He also served as chairman of the Family Practice Department at Dupont Hospital from 2003 to 2005. A primary care physician, Dr. Manalo earned a bachelor's degree in 1977 from the University of the East in Manila, where he also earned a medical degree in 1981. He graduated from the University of the State of New York in Albany in 1989 as a registered nurse before completing a primary care residency with the Fort Wayne Medical Education Program in 1994. Dr. Manalo, who is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, the Indiana Statal Society.
