My mom is a breast cancer survivor, and after seeing the impact her healthcare team had on her and our family, I knew I wanted to do something meaningful that could have a similar effect on people. When I decided to go into healthcare, my family supported my decision, and I knew I could help make positive changes in peoples’ lives the way my mother’s doctors and nurses changed hers. I chose family practice because I wanted to build a lasting relationship with patients. I enjoy working with patients to provide the knowledge and motivation needed to take control of their health – whether through diet, exercise or other lifestyle changes that allow them to live their healthiest life. Health is about choices, and I try to give my patients the tools they need to put themselves in healthy environments. My patients say I am compassionate, attentive and down-to-earth. I strive to put my patients at ease during their visit so that they feel comfortable asking questions and we can have the most productive conversation about their well-being. When I’m not caring for patients, you can find me watching Arizona basketball, camping with my wife and being involved with church. I also enjoy home improvement projects.
