Liliana Gutierrez, M.D., is a board-certified internist in Venice, FL, who specializes in diagnosing and treating a wide variety of symptoms and disorders affecting adults over the age of 18 – from common acute illnesses to unusual or systemic problems.

Dr. Gutierrez offers a primary focus on the management of chronic disease. Additionally, she coordinates care with other medical specialists who serve her patients. She will also direct her patients’ transition of care from the hospital to a nursing facility when necessary.

Dr. Gutierrez attended medical school at Escuela Colombiana de Medicina in Bogota, Colombia, and then moved to Richmond, NY, where she completed a residency at St. Vincent Medical Center. Her knowledge of internal medicine combined with her experience and commitment to each patient’s well-being makes her a wonderful addition to Gulf Coast Medical Group’s diverse network of specialists.

Dr. Gutierrez also treats weight issues through her medically managed weight loss program. The program takes into consideration a person's health conditions and weight loss goals and provides support through education, coaching, nutritional guidance, meal planning and the Walk with a Doc low impact walking program every 3rd Friday of the month.
