Kristina has numerous honors and awards including Sigma Theta Tau International Delta Kappa Chapter, Sigma Theta Tau International Pi Omega Chapter, Pi Eta Sigma National Honor Society and College of Health and Social Services Dean’s List. She has worked as a staff registered nurse in the pediatric intensive care unit, the pediatric unit and the intensive care and cardiac care unit. She has clinical experience in family practice, pediatrics, pediatric pulmonology, pediatric gastroenterology and pediatric urology. She enjoys reading and running and also volunteered with the Winter Special Olympics.
