Kajal Puranik, M.D., received her medical degree at Windsor University, College of Medicine and completed her internship and residency in family medicine at Presence Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center in Chicago. She chose family medicine because it's the one field that allows her to treat the whole patient. Since she's not limited to one healthcare specialty, she is able to guide her patients through the complex maze of modern medicine through individualized treatment plans specific to her patients. She also believes that proper patient education empowers patients to improve their quality of life.
