Jose Rodarte, MD
My desire to become a doctor was sparked when my niece, born at just 26 weeks, not only survived, but thrived. The dedication of those individuals involved in her care has stayed with me and fuels my own commitment to helping others lead a full, healthy life.
I chose family medicine because it gives me the opportunity to treat every age and every condition, from acute illness to chronic medical issues. I especially enjoy the preventive medicine aspect of primary care as it allows me to educate my patients on wellness and how it can help prevent disease. In addition, I have a strong interest in Sports Medicine and completed a Fellowship in that field. I enjoy seeing both “weekend warriors” and competitive athletes for sports injuries, injury prevention and concussion management.
My philosophy is to listen to patients and take the time to talk with them about their healthcare concerns. It is my goal to ensure appointments are conversational and comfortable, never hurried.
