After completing a three-year pediatrics residency at the Philippine Children’s Medical Center and working with pediatric patients for several years, Geraldine Feria, M.D., moved to the United States where she completed a dual residency program in pediatrics and internal medicine at Hurley Medical Center in Michigan. During her residency, Feria also gained experience working with geriatric patients. Dr. Feria received Hurley Medical Center’s Professionalism Award for two consecutive years. Nurses give the award to a resident who demonstrates excellent work ethic, teamwork and patient care.
