Desiree is a nurse practitioner who specializes in family medicine. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Stephen F. Austin University, Nacogdoches, TX, and then earned her Master of Science degree at Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, KY. She holds a national board certification with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Prior to working as an FNP, Desiree worked for eight years in labor and delivery and high risk obstetrics. Desiree loves working in family medicine, as it allows her to care for whole families throughout the lifespan. She is passionate about preventive health care and early intervention for chronic health conditions.

Desiree lives in Glen Rose with her husband, two daughters and golden retriever. She is active in her church with children's ministry.
