American Board of Internal Medicine: Dan Vance, M.D., is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Memphis class of 1979. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN, from 1979 to 1983. Dr. Vance is a Chattanooga native who has been practicing medicine for over 28 years in Cleveland.

Dr. Vance joined Internal Medicine Group of Cleveland in 1983. He as served as medical director of family hospice, formerly Bradley Memorial Hospice since 1985. Dr. Vance is board certified in internal medicine; he specializes in diabetes, cholesterol, osteoporosis, hypertension, preventative and hospice medicine. Dr. Vance shares three daughers with his wife Janet Snoddy, MD.

He feels it is very satisfying to have practiced in Cleveland for thirty years and known many of my patients just as long. He believes doctor-patient communication is the key to patients trusting in his care. He encourages his patients to be active in their healthcare plan and ask questions during their visits.
