Christopher Baranyk, D.O., M.S., WCC, is a board-certified family practitioner who is affiliated with Northwest Family Medicine - Eureka Springs. He completed his undergraduate degree in biology at Illinois State University in Normal then earned a master's degree in molecular genetics from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. Dr. Baranyk completed medical school at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, MO. He then completed a residency at DeWitt Army Community Hospital in Ft. Belvoir, VA. He served in the US Army as a family medicine intern, resident and physician from 2007-2015, earning numerous awards, medals and commendations, including a Bronze Star. He has also earned the Wound Care Certified designation from the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy. After transferring from active duty to serve in the Arkansas National Guard as a field surgeon, he began his private practice at Eureka Springs Hospital Family Clinic. He joined Northwest Physicians in 2016.
