Anupma Lal, MD, a board-certified internal medicine physician, joined Lutheran Health Physicians in October 2013. Dr. Lal came to LHP from Huntington Medical Group, in Huntington, Indiana, where she practiced since 2002. Dr. Lal, who has special interests in preventive care and women's health, earned bachelor's degrees in medicine and surgery from Maharani Laxmi Bai Medical College in Jhansi, India, in 1992. She completed an internship in 1993 and a residency in clinical medicine in 1996 at Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi, India. She also completed a residency in internal medicine at Medicine Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee in 2001. Dr. Lal is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin.
