Anthony Gross, D.O. Board-Certified Family Medicine Primary Care Sports Medicine.

As an avid sports fan with a degree in exercise science, I chose to become a sports medicine-trained family medicine physician because it allows me to combine my desire to help people with my passion for sports. While my practice includes a broad range of general family medicine, I am able to assist my patients—whether they are athletes or weekend sports warriors—who are experiencing sports-related injuries. I also offer osteopathic manipulative treatment and ultrasound-guided steroid injections. My goal with each patient is to be easy to talk to and to take time to listen to them. I don’t use “doctor-speak,” and I offer patients options for their treatment plan so they may make informed decisions. Whenever possible, I try to make them smile. I enjoy helping my patients with problems they can’t fix themselves. I try to put into perspective what’s really going on and can often clarify misperceptions they might come in with about their conditions. I believe less is more and, when appropriate, start with conservative treatment plans first. I also educate my patients about keeping themselves healthy. In my spare time, I enjoy playing sports, exercising, reading comic books and painting.
