“Since I was a child, I’ve always been fascinated by the human body and how it functions. Every medical show captivated my attention. But, my desire to practice medicine was truly solidified when I broke my arm. Interacting and watching the doctor take care of this issue inspired me to do the same.

“I practice evidence-based medicine which allows me to be honest and direct. This approach helps us build a trusting relationship where I act as the patient’s advocate but allow them to make the final decision about their plan of care.

“Education is an important part of my practice. Once a diagnosis is confirmed, I try to understand what the patient knows about the condition and where they stand on recommended treatments. I take time to explain their options and provide resources for further education.

“In addition to family medicine, I am fellowship trained in Sports Medicine. This means I am able to treat most orthopedic injuries with non-surgical interventions, including injections and musculoskeletal manipulations, as well as manage concussions.

“No matter the circumstance, my goal is to keep my patients motivated, active and doing what they want at any stage of life.

“Outside of the office, I enjoy participating in triathlons, golfing, being outdoors, traveling, and cooking.”
